To that end, the Québec Plan for the Development of Critical and Strategic Minerals (CSMs) aims to position Québec as a leader in the production, processing and recycling of CSMs. 

This strategy is supported by provincial investments and federal programs, mobilizing several billion dollars in support of research, infrastructure and mining projects.
